Management delegation

Delegation is ZoneID based, which means the delegate must have a ZoneID account. A new ZoneID account can be created here, if necessary.

Web Hosting

Management delegation can be used to give web hosting access, for example to a web developer. For delegating the web hosting management, the service owner must first log into MyZone and go to Web Hosting -> Management delegation -> add a new delegation

On this page, new delegations can be added and existing delegations can be seen.

Management can be delegated either giving All privileges or choosing them individually.

Attention!

Webserver, subdomains, MySQL, Crontab, FTP and SSH should be sufficient permissions for a web developer.

If agreed to the possible risks, tick the box and Save changes.

Domain

For delegating the domain management, the service owner must first log into MyZone and go to Domains -> My domains -> click on a desired domain -> Add delegation

Attention!

Domains cannot be renewed from a delegated account. Renewal can be done only from domain owner’s ZoneID account.
